Fixing a pardini sight

Post by mhkhung »

A new shooter pushed on it and it just came up against the pivot.. what should I do? Forcing it back in doesn't seem to be the right thing to do..

Had the same thing happen to me. Remove the grip and put the pin back under the spring. Takes some finagling to get it back in but I was able to get it without too much trouble.

Take the sight off. A tiny screwdriver can be useful to force the spring a little when you slide it on to the pin. Just a little bit, and then you can easily push the sight forward on the pistol and put the pivot pin back in.
Pivotpin is not tapered, goes any direction.
