Good for her!

And good for the paper for writing it up positively. They get extra bonus points for:

* Getting a good picture with a nice smile and good depth-of-field
* Not making a really bad play-on-words headline out of a shooting sports article (e.g., "Youngster gunning for Junior Olympic title", "Local youth has sights set on medal", and so forth)

Glad to hear it! The Makucevich's are a very driven family and Michelle and David are excellent coaches to boot. I had the pleasure of attending some of their Junior Olympic training camps in Rhode Island many years ago, and they put on a very good clinic.
