model 41 question

At our last match it was mentioned that Smith was making changes to the Mod. 41 . Any one have any Info. on this?

Hmm, I'd be curious to know myself.
My 41 is a 1977 vintage and handles supurbly. .... Will be checking for others respones as well.

The 41 would benefit greatly from weight loss. It would not surprise me to see a new version with a politically correct lock.
