Help RT Scope Mounts

Hello
I have a Walther LG400 RT rifle which I am really struggling to find the correct scope mounts for.
I have a Russian twin post scope which may be a ZOMZ but not sure as there are no markings on it. I know the tubes measure 26mm but trying too find high mounts in 26mm is near on impossible. I am tempted to purchase some 25.4mm rings and hone them to fit.
Can anyone help please with a make or type of ring I need please? I would also be grateful if someone could tell me what height I need please, I know we are all built differently but an average height would be helpful in assisting me to narrow my search. I have seen both vertical mounts and overhang mounts on the Youtube videos so if anyone knows what solution I need for my LG400 I would be most grateful indeed.
Really hope someone can help before all the worlds forums get fed pop with me asking : )
