I have a Hammerli 208 with engraving on either side of the barrel. It also has "125 jahre hammerli 1863-1988", In gold on the left side of the slide. s/# JP 12xx on the right side of the frame, It also has an engraved grip with an adjustable palm shelf. It has a fitted case. I used to own a 208 which had a slim trigger. This one has a wide trigger but a regular rounded trigger guard.
Does anyone know what I have, what date it was made (I am assuming 1988) and how to adjust the trigger. I don't think it is an S model and the trigger guard is the same shape and profile and the standard 208 International I used to have. Thks.

Sorry Leon I'm new to this, how do I access my duplicate thread? Thanks for replying. I need also to know how to adjust the trigger weight. All the info I seem to get on the internet refers to 208 international or 208s. Thats why I wasn't sure what the actual model is. It looks as though it's a different trigger to the 208 and looks more like the 208S but my trigger can't be moved backwords or forward. Thks

Hi - yours is the 208 International.

Ignore all reference to a 208S
