I hoped that Sarah Scherer would do better, since she's from the Dallas area. But alas, she finished 8th.

I REALLY like the new shootoff format. Exciting and suspenseful to watch.

Just watched opening ceremony last night. Was really great. But Thrasher already won gold?!?!?!? That's amazing!!!

I too wished Sarah had performed better. She posted on FB that one of the officials made her change her buttplate 10 minutes before the final!

Great seeing her performance live. What an amazing year she is having!

NBC Sports has a free app that lets you get alerts and stream live all the shooting finals (and other sports also ;). They also have the streams recorded so you can watch later. (There is just a 30 second video prior to the event, and then you are good to go.

So if you did not get a chance to watch this morning, you can watch it now.
