Hello,

I am planning to buy Air Rifle and I am confused which one to choose from Walther LG400 Alutec Expert and FWB 800x.

I want to know which is good in performance wise. I am really confused to choose my first Air Rifle.

Please suggest me the best one from the above rifles.

Thank you so much.

Which (if either) does your coach recommend for you?
If you are not asking your coach, why not?
If you do not have a coach, this is a REAL worry.

Both are excellent. I think there are no questions about that.

My suggestion is to choose the brand you will find better tecnical assistance and access to spare parts for its maintenance.

I personally rely on FWB since 1981... ( Pistol fwb65, rifles 300s, 600, 603 and now P700alu, this one got new in 2005).

Also in my opinion both are excellent. Personally I prefer FWB 800x because the shaft and the cheeckpiece are more adjustable to your needs.
Just my 0.02...

I like the Walther. If you set it up correctly, you can load it in position like a Pardini. Nice feature to have. But some people it doesn't work well for.

This is the reason why I'm likely picking up a FWB 800x.

As this is your "first" air rifle, please remember that it is the "process" that is important. Much more so than the hardware.
