Adjusting the trigger of the FWB 600

Hi all,

I'm quite new to this sport and for starters I'm shooting with a FWB 600. When I was on the shootingrange the other night, the trigger just went really sensitive. The moment I touched it with my finger, ready to make the shot.. it just went off. Normally you should feel some pressure when you're pulling it slightly.

Does anybody know how I can adjust my trigger so I can get that pressure-point back? I saw there were a couple of gears where you can make adjustments with but it didnt work out for me yet. Hope anybody can help me with this!

Gr,

The two thumb wheels in the trigger group adjust first stage length/weight and the other trigger pull weight. As far as I can remember, the one further towards the muzzle adjusts weight. Turn it till you see the spring in there stretch out, then try it.

If you feel the need to adjust sear engagement, adjust trigger point (14) screw counter clockwise (increasing sear contact). It's in front of the trigger blade. You really should consult with your owners manual however, as the trigger group may have changed from my FWB.

If you don't have a manual, you can download one here: http://www.feinwerkbau.de/en/Service+Do ... duct-range

I guess things have changed over the years, in my post replace screw 14 with 9.
