Is that a FWB 300? A hook butt plate on a 300 would make it an excellent shooter. Even though I've shot FWB's and Anschutz air rifles the 300 is still my favorite.

But the hook would unfortunately not be allowed under most rule books. The rifle is probably an Anschutz 1407 or 1408.

Precision Small-bore. It's an old 1407 set up as a transition rifle for a youngster outgrowing the Annie Achievers. This is working out to be a simple yet terrific modification to these relatively inexpensive buttplates, allowing a significantly wider range of adjustment, especially for offhand. Acquiring the best gear for the buck is a different problem with a fleet of 20 rifles.
