I'm thinking 1977-1980ish a typical paper cover book with cheaper binding from this timeframe. It was from the Coles book series, but for some reason it is not included in thier glossary of published book. The subject was Olympic style pistol shooting from an accomplished match shooter and covered all the basics a new shooter had to master to be competitive. Various pistols demonstrated for grip & hold, Hammerli, I'm sure at least one TOZ and a Colt Diamondback (just demo only I think) if you believe that. AP, FP, Sport, and Rapid events were covered in some detail I believe. Crossman is not the author btw.
I would really appreciate it someone could come up with the proper title & ISBN......
Cheers! |

You may want to try posting your question on Targetshooting.ca
I've heard about the same book, but I have never seen it. I heard Tommy Guin, Ca DN shooter from that era is in the photos.
Good luck and please let us know what you find,
Brian |

A classic. I've got 3-4 copies, most of which are loaned out (seemingly permanently).
There seem to be 2 on ebay at the moment, 1 in the UK and 1 in the US. |

Thanks for the options fellas......and I just ordered the hardcover from barnes & noble.
Primarily because I've had past grief with amazon books.
Good to know this book is sought after. My Dad made a very good choice in 1979!
Cheers.......... |

Funnily enough, a club member loaned me his copy of the book a few days ago, some very interesting material in there.
Just bagged myself a second hand copy. |
