Air Pistol Dealer in Canada

Post by superstring »

I'm wondering where the Canucks on the board buy their pistols and supplies. I bought my current pistol from Airgunsonly years ago when Ray McDougall owned it but, since then, I've dealt with Cibles for pellets and targets.

Recently I've been thinking about purchasing another pistol - probably a Steyr LP10e or LP50e - and I'm looking for recommendations for a reputable dealer.

Thanks.

Cibles, International Imports in Toronto. My last one a LP10E I bought from Pilks it saved me over $500 after taxes, but I was down in the US anyways at the World Cup.

You can try this place, they are in Toronto, I've deal with them many yrs, never have any problem, in fact a friend of mine brought a LP 10 from them just a few months ago.

Richard, if your gun needed work, who would you send it to - Cibles - or do you do your own?

Got your PM. Thanks, Richard. I sent you a reply but the board seems to be messing up, so I don't know if it went through. Anyway, I understand.

Any particular reason? Good service? Knowledgeable advise? Good prices?

Harvey is the Steyr dealer in Canada and is extremely knowledgable. I know someone who sent their Steyr to another dealer, the AP came back in a shambles. Rings were placed where they did not need to be placed. The sear was adjusted and should never have been touched. Cleaning which was charged for was inadequately done. I had the athlete send it off to Harvey and he fixed everything. For Steyrs in Canada, I trust Harvey the most. (Also, he's a helluva guy and is a ISSF certified official.)

Harvey at Airgunsplus

I'll second that Harvey at Airguns plus is very reliable for all ISSF needs, guns ammo reloading. I've dealt with him several times very prompt and fair and a real nice fellow to talk to as well. Plus he is quite a good shooter and comes from a very active shooting family in Saskatchewan. You cannot go wrong with him.
