My first FAS had a great trigger, exactly as described above.
My current one I just can't get right, in fact there is no second stage at all - the tip of the sear lever should touch the spring bar eventually to give a higher force but never does, suspect its been messed with.

Are you sure it's not just a case of the allen screw being too far in. Either that or maybe the spring bar tip has been straightened out.

How old is it. If it's only a few years old then it might have the newer trigger, which seems to work differently.

Even with the allen screw removed the sear extension never touches the spring bar - I suspect someone has messed with the sear engagement.

Its and old 602 SN 12xxx.
