de-pinging the steyr LG110

Anyone else attempted de-pinging the steyr LG 110? It appears the air cylinder and striker are the culprit and am interested to hear what solutions others have found and how effective they where??

the ping comes from resonance on the hammer spring if i remember correctly.

there are several who've modded their guns in the uk... try some of the FT forums for some tips.
