issf rules about clothing and boots

Good evening everyone!

could anyone please shed some light on the planned changes in rules regarding to jackets and boots for 10m air rifle? I've heard they're banning shooting boots and most of the shooting clothing rules are gonna change.

As I read things, and I could be wrong, "above the ankle" boots are going to be banned for everything apart from kneeling in the near future.

I don't believe that there will be any other major clothing changes until the 2013 rules (but again I could be wrong).

There are a number of proposals being put forward but they are just that at the moment. There are mixed messages in the wordings but as David mentions boots 'could' be outlawed as he mentions. Also clothing rules could also be significantly changed. Thus if you're considering spending a small fortune to upgrade, it may be prudent to hand fire a short while until the situation becomes a little clearer.
