An Obvious(?) Piece of Advice

Post by Oz »

I've never claimed to be the smartest guy around. So this is painfully obvious to me now, hindsight being 20/20 and all...

When making adjustments to your pistol or rifle, especially large/significant adjustments... DO THEM ONE AT A TIME!

In other words; don't adjust the rake of your grip, the cant and the trigger shoe depth at one time ;-)

'Nuff said!

It's also not a good idea to do that right before a big national match.

I think it is also a good idea to write down any and all changes you make!!! I add any changes I make into my shooting diary.

A sure helpful thing to do so that you know what changes you had done and you will be well-informed on your own.
