Listing of clubs

Post by soybean »

Is there a listing somewhere of thhe various clubs/organizations/teams that do competitive smallbore in different areas? I shot smallbore and air in high school but now that that's over I'd like to look into the feasibility of getting back into it. However I can't seem to find if there are opportunities available in different areas, especially the northern NY region where I'm from. Would CMP have a listing? Thanks in advance for any advice you can give me, Soybean.

The NRA, USA Shooting, & CMP all have a list of clubs on their websites and some of them even list what disciplines they shot, but they don't tell you the activity levels of these programs. I know of several clubs on those list that haven't had an active program in years.

You can get information from NRA in a number of ways. Most recently they have offered their competitive magazine for free in a digital format, see below. Or if you just want to view the NRA calanders, you can go here:

for a coming events page, or here:

for links to particular tournaments.
