Even a blind squirrel . . .

Post by Freepistol »

I haven't shot my free pistol for the last 3 weeks. I was doing holding exercises and dry fire. Additonally, I only put about 70 pellets through my AP during that period.

This is my first shot with the free pistol:

Wow, well done, you couldn't do better with a rifle from a bench rest.
Frame this one and hang it on the wall.

And how old is that target ?, it doesn't even look like the current one (no inner 10) - but then it does still say 'UIT', rather than 'ISSF' so I guess that dates it, to those more in the know than me.

To funny. I know what you thought when you saw it. No way I am shooting another round at this target. I once had similiar shot dead nuts center using a Crosman 357 CO2 revolver shooting one handed @28 feet.
Thought I missed and walked over and saw the hole. :) Put that one on the books lol.

Great shot shame it is so hard to just keep plugging them in there.

I bought the targets in 1994 and, yes, it has the inner ten ring. It is visible at 3 o'clock.

Bo, those were my exact thoughts!

You should have kept it as an antique ;)

But a great shot never the less.

I would frame it. It is cool with the old target, and the dry fire story.
Fun and inspiring, the definition of target shooting.

Just wondering - WHY even have reduced size/distance targets?
Don't you have sufficient space for a 50 metre range?

I do have a 50 meter range in my back yard, unfortunately, it was -10.56 C out there this morning.

Yeah, Steve, "low and left!" Image

Ah yes, I forgot- in Australia there is no shooting pistols except on approved ranges at approved clubs.
No need for us to have any target other than ISSF approved.
