Is it possible to lighten the trigger pull weight on this air rifle? Our club has several and we would like to get the pull weight down. Is it possible? Thanks

it's possible, but the trigger unit isn't the best... often lightening the trigger to a light setting either loses 1st stage, or 1st stage won't re-engage once 2nd stage has been taken up, the trigger becomes 1st stage.

a member of our club took to his with some swiss files, polishing and de-burring the trigger mechanism, and the transformation was significant, the trigger could be set much lighter, it behaved properly and more predictably.

Possible. Here are instructions. I would warn about trying for less than 500g or so, especially for a club gun.

Best,

Joe

Thank you for the help. I will try and polish everything up. Is th TX200 trigger and the T200 trigger the same?

I looked at JR McDaniel's link.
Maybe I'm wrong, but the T200 and the TX200 don't look to be the same.

The T200 is the same as the "old" XS-40.
If that's the one you have, then RobF is right .... too light & you lose the 2 stage feature.

If you are shooting precision, just be aware of that ...
Sporter, you can only go to 1.5lbs anyway

Oops, I assumed you left off the X.
