Hypnotism - pre-match nerves.

Post by clickngofar »

Guys,

Pre-match nerves.

Are there any experts among us that can advise if hypnotism would be a good thingl?
Has anybody tried it?

As an acute sufferer all my shooting life, I'm interested in researching this.

What do you think?

Regards,

Learning about relaxation techniques should help you with nervousness before and during a match.
I would suggest that you search out a qualified sports psychologist or join a yoga class, or both :)
I would also recommend reading 'Mental training in shooting' ISBN 82-997181-1-2

I've seen it help with some people and be a disaster with others.

It isn't "one size fits all" and requires expert individual advice.
