Best 3P rifle

Post by Alex1262 »

I am looking to buy a new 3P rifle this spring, and I'm looking for some suggetions. i am considering an Anschutz 2013, or a walther KK300. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

All the top brands can do their own part. I shoot a kk200 and love it, I've held a kk300 and didn't like the feel of it as much. It's basically which one you like the most. Try to hold different ones to get a feel for what you like the most, also weight is an issue for some so you might want to look at that.

Iam a big fan of the ANS 1913, Its a great 3p rifle. The 2013 series are really coming around also. Another rifle to look at is the FWB 2700 super match.. Its a nice rifle for the money. I have shot walthers i just never took a liking to them. I would try to get your hands on as many as you can to try them out first.

Yeah, i was considering the 2700 also. I had a chane to handle a 2013 earlier today at a sectional match, and I really like it. It really sucks how the exchange rate is so bad right now. All the guns jumped about $400 from last years prices. Most guys that i shoot with have very similar guns, including a lot of 1913's.

Just try to see what fits you best. any of the top gun makers will work, ANS, FWB, Walther.

I have a 2700 alu and really like it! Very accurate and feels great to shoot in all positions. Every bit as good (or better) IMO as an anschutz.

Does the 2700 have a wheel to adjust the trigger? My coach's gun is an older FWB and it has that feature.
