LH Newbie to Air Rifle -

I'm thinking about taking up air rifle shooting, and am about "sold" on the FWB 700. The AL stock seems to be the current favorite. Is it worth the cost difference over the laminate stock? Is there anyone in the Northern VA area that has one I could look at? Better yet are there LH shooters out there that have decided to pursue other shooting sports?
