Can anybody, probably from Europe, help with the dates for the following matches in 2008:-

Munich Airgun Meeting (Not the World Cup)
RIAC Luxembourg
ISAS Dortmund
Airgun Meeting Wiesbaden
Rapid Fire Meeting Wiesbaden
Matchweek Karstula

Thanks in advance.

David: Have you checked the European Shooting Conferdation web site? They have all the info on most matches there, including the entry and programs/schedules, etc. It is a good site to check often. I know I do.

Thanks Don, unfortunately they haven't got anything yet.

I must agree about the quality of the ESC site, loads of information. It's one of my "check daily" sites.

Hi David

Karstula Shooting week is one those competitions you have to try. I was there this year. It’s a little primitive, but that is not an obstacle. For example, the 10m ranges are OUTSIDE… that can be a challenge, because light/shade changes constantly and off course, WIND. ;-) that’s a whole new experience. But fun none the less.
The dates are not set for next year, but you can read more about it here:

http://karmas.karstula.fi/englanti/frame_englanti.html

The local shooting club KARMAS celebrates 50 year anniversary next year… They have promised an extraordinary competition.

You should also try, The Swedish Cup, in January. Three competition days with airguns.

They provide about 100 targets with electronic targets from Megalink.
This is probably the best airgun match in Scandinavia. (My opinion, anyway)

Munich airgun match is usually in the last week of January. The German shooting federation has not published anything yet.

Nor has the Regional federation: http://www.bssb.de/index2.php

This link is an overview of all regional federations in Germany: http://www.schuetzenbund.de/dsb/landesverbaende/

Happy shooting

Thanks Kim

Yes I agree about Karstula, it is very well run and extremely enjoyable. We have sent teams from GB on several occasions over the last 10 years.

As mentioned before: don't miss the Swedish Cup! It's a nice competition.
