Which company invented the pcp pistol and when? I just bit the bullet

Thanks in advance for all the past, present, and future info!

Wasn't it originally the brainchild of Cesare Morini before he went on to SAM/Anschutz partnership and later MG ?

I think Ragnar Skanaker was the force behind the orignal Morini 162E, Ceasare was of course known only as a grip designer at the time, and the Repich family was the glue that hold it all in one piece. This was the first gun out using this technoloegy. The next gun was Hammerli 480 which was sold as dual use, could use eitehr CO2 or Compressed air. Is not PCP a drug?
