LP10 cocking lever won't stay latched

Post by Nicole Hamilton »

My LP10 has been a pure delight through 6 years and tens of thousands of shots but has suddenly become a bit cranky: The cocking lever isn't latching closed all the time anymore. I'll cock the gun, put in a pellet and close the latch only to have it pop up into the dry fire position. I've pulled off the grip to take a look, but I don't see any obvious adjustments I might try nor does it look like there's any wear anywhere that might explain this.

Thoughts or suggestions, anyone?

Yes, I did buy from Scott, so a quick email to him for advice will be next. I just thought I'd check here first to see if it was something obvious that others had already encountered and knew how to fix. I hope I don't need to mail it back to him.
