Help me fill in the question marks... pardini SP trigger

Post by bdutton »

I need help filling in the question marks on this diagram. It is a Pardini SP trigger assembly. I marked all the spots where I have screws. I know what some do but some do not match the diagram I had before.

Hi there,
I've got 7 adjustments for the Pardini Trigger:

1: trigger position
2: 1st stage travel
3: 1st stage weight
4: 2nd stage travel
5: 2nd stage weight
6: take up
7: overtravel

I believe your 3 and 4 are second stage weight and travel, in that order. On my gun, 1 is the overtravel. I have no screw at 2 (is yours an older model? this may be 1st stage weight or travel). My 1st stage weight and travel are on the top and back of the frame respectively. If you pull off the grip, the 1st stage travel is can be seen on the back of the frame in front of the sear.

My friend has an older model with a slightly different configuration than mine, could be what you have. How old is it, early to mid 90's? I bought mine in the 99 to 01 time frame I think.

Hope this helps,
Steve.

Thanks. My gun does not have the screw at the top of the frame. I think the first stage weight is number 2.

I'm not sure what year this model was manufactured.
