Does anybody know where to get those bic style sooty sight black lighters that I recall seeing somewhere but don't know where?

Have you tried a flat balck permanent marker? I have used the carbon type sight blackers and they are good but, a little too messy for me. I started using the flat black markers a while back adn they give me good darkening of the sights eith no reflection noticeable to me.
