The Arlington International Airgun Club (AIAC) will host a CMP/3P Council Tournament on Fri Feb 25th (7:00 PM relay) and Sat Feb 26th, 2005, at the AIAC Juniors range in Arlington Heights, IL.

The match is open to all competitors - no age limits or affiliation required. Cost is $10.

National Three-Position Air Rifle Council Open Tournament

Includes 3P AR, Int’l AR and AP – Junior, Collegiate, and Adult all events

Dates: Friday February 25 and Saturday February 26, 2005

Location: Christian Liberty Academy (CLA), 502 West Euclid, Arlington Heights, IL

Sponsor: Arlington International Airgun Club – AIAC Juniors

Competition open to: All competitors - no age restriction or affiliation required.
Individual Categories of: Junior (incl AG1, AG2, AG3 – rule 3.1.1 ), Collegiate (rule 3.1.3), and Senior (adult - age 21 and over). Team Categories of: Sporter and Precision.

Firing Times* 3P - February 25 (Friday) 7:00 PM – Relay 1 (16 lanes ea.)
February 26 (Saturday) 9:00 AM – Relay 2 , 11:30 AM - Relay 3

Int’l AR and AP (combined) - Feb 26 (Sat), 2:00 PM – Relay 4 only

*Please arrive at least 30 min prior to scheduled relay time to allow for entry and registration.
Eye protection is required, ear protection is recommended, on the firing line.

Entry Fees: Individual - $10.00 each, second event $5.00
Teams - $8.00 (members must also be registered individually)

Rules: National Standard Three-Position Air Rifle Rules for Sporter and Precision.

Match Course: 3P- 3X20 – 20 shots ea. prone, standing, kneeling. AR 5/10 target.
Int’l – 40-shots Women and Juniors, 60-shots Men, multi-bull targets

Awards: Top 3 places in each category (min 10 competitors). Categories may be combined based on registration.

Directions: Christian Liberty Academy (CLA – 502 W. Euclid Ave) is located in Chicago’s northwest suburb of Arlington Heights on Euclid Ave., 2 mi east of I-290/Rt-53. We are approx. 1 mile east of Arlington Park racetrack. The entrance and parking lot are on the east side of the building off of Walnut St.


Concessions Stand will be open 9-2 on Sat.(donuts, coffee, hotdogs, chips, soda, water)
