Flag Placement - Prone 1600

Post by NMC_EXP »

I'm match director for Outdoor Conventional Prone Tournaments (US - NRA).

Can someone tell me at what distances wind flags are placed for the US National Matches?

I'd like to follow that method at our club events.

Reason being, several of our competitors use our July tournament as a warm up for the Nationals.

Regards

Going from memory, but I think they were set up roughly at 10m, 30m, and 75m.

From the NRA Smallbore rulebook:

http://competitions.nra.org/documents/p ... r-book.pdf

Go to page 16 and read rule 6.9.

I regret the delay in responding.

Location is Wyoming IL which is about 30 miles north of Peoria IL.

The tournaments are listed on the NRAs competetive shooting publication.
