2014 NRA Metric Championships

Post by Bbryer33 »

Im going to be shooting the metric position national match in Bristol, Indiana this year and I was wondering what targets they use for metric? I've narrowed it down to the A-26 Kruger targets or the UIT 50 Meter targets. Anyone know which ones they shoot out to nationals?

IIRC We used A50 or A51 Targets (can't remember which) for our state outdoor metric match.

NRA Metric Prone matches use the A-50 at 50m (or the A-51 at 50 yards, if your range doesn't have a 50 meter line) and the A-33 at 100 yards. Targets are listed on page 57 of this year's match program.

The NRA A-26 target is used for the 50m stage of a Conventional Prone match. The A-27 is the scaled version for use if you don't have a 50 meter line.
