Date Stamp on PCP Air Cylinders

Post by JMicikas »

Folks:

Is the date stamped on PCP airgun cylinders the expiration date of the cylinder or the date from which 10 year life begins?

Thanks for your replies in advance.

The ones I've owned were all stamped with their date of manufacture.

The Walther and Steyr tanks I've seen have both dates: manufacture and "good until" dates.
