Anyone heard of the top gun electronic training system? Is it any good?

not sure why the link doesn't work. just search top gun electronic trainer. $650 is 1/2 the price of scatt usb.

Lot's of posts about it on the US long range/highpower forum. Got mine about a two months ago when it was $600. Using it to get back into Highpower after a 2 year hiatus. Never used a SCATT so I can't compare. Works fine for me. You need good lighting for your indoor "range." Only complaints I have so far is that the program crashes about once every other practice session. You lose any unsaved shots. They stated there would be an update to the software at the end of April - have yet to see it. I'm using an old Dell laptop dedicated to it which may be part of the problem. Shots appear on call which raises my confidence with the Topgun system.... just need to get my calls closer to the X again.

Thanks for the info, I had already found the USRifleteam fourm. Just looking for more first hand experience before making the decision between it and a Scatt unit. Thanks

I had a chance to try Top Gun on air pistol.

Accuracy is OK, but obviously that the FPS is not smooth as SCATT.

The sensor has to be in the "barrel" and I really worry about this.

And the software is not delicate as SCATT, especially for analysis part.

You have no chance to do live fire on TopGun, because there is a pad on target side for sensoring.

But, you know, the price is 50% lower than SCATT...
