Shooting Lense for Shooting Glasses

Post by 4hillbillys »

I'm trying to find the guy who makes the shooting lenses and sets up at Camp Perry or can anyone recommend someone who will make the shooting lense for my shooting glasses? Thanks!

Why yes 4hill, your favorite Opthamologist should have an in house Optician.

He/She can cut new lenses to fit your frames. If you need a new prescription

for your dominant eye lens, they might give you quite a discount. The eye care

clinic that I go to, charged only $35.00 to cut a lens for my shooting frames.

The lens included the correction for the hold distance from my dominant eye to

the front sight blade; and it also had the cylinder(astigmatism) correction on

both axes that my eye required. The refraction was a separate charge; in my case,

they waived the charge when providing my new prescription.
