Any ideas on what these rifles were used for?

Post by Brayhaven »

It's built on a KKM barreled action 25.5" bbl, open rear hand click adjustable sight and front globe post. Schutzen sort of (non factory) stock. Had 4 of these in a recent shipment from Germany. Maybe a moving target discipline of some sort? Made in 97. Very comfortable steady hold.

Thanks, Greg

A Tyrolean stock.

AFAIK a stock for stationary standing target shooting favoured typically in German-speaking countries.

Thanks Sandy. Was wondering about the open sights on the barrel dovetail.
Might have been a club or team event as there were 4 of them
All alike.
