Hammerli SP-20 Failure to Eject

Post by joel »

I just got my SP20 RRS and have only run dummy rounds through it, but it won't eject. They are extracted, but the extractor is holding on and not ejecting. Does anyone have any experience with this or have any advice. I am planning on taking it to the range, but I'll try one round at a time to see what happens, though I fear it won't eject. Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,

Joel

I don't know anything about the Hammerli, but the Pardini sp needs the magazine seated to eject (The ejector is actually on the magazine). Unless it's in place, the case just hangs on the bolt face, held by the extractor.

Don't know if this helps....

But it did help. brilliant sir! It ejects perfectly now, so the magazine needs to be inserted to eject the cartridges.

Many Thanks!
