FWB 601 Torque Specifications

Post by taso1000 »

Hello All,

I just received an FWB 601. It was disassembled for transit so I put it back together. Does anyone know where I can find the screw and bolt torque specifications? I've found and downloaded a users manual and a parts diagram but they don't list the torque specs. I have also looked for a service manual but have not found one.

I don't want to over or under tighten the action in the stock and the front and rear sight mounting bolts.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Start with 5.0Nm torque. This is recommended by Anschutz for wooden stocks. From there increase or decrease in steps of 0.1Nm until you find a setting that produces the smallest groups. Every combination of stock with action reacts different, so every rifle has its own settings for torque. The V0 speed and diameter of pellet also has a big influence on torque settings.

Succes,
