We have finished week Three of this Year’s Vermont Winter Postal League. We had a very close race between our top 3 teams this week. We ended up with a tie for first this week between Plattsburgh and Sutter- Gold, from California, who both fired a 1574. Sutter was led by junior shooter Rachel Benesh (397 in 4-P), and Plattsburgh was led by Peter Visconti with a 396 4-P. Third place, just one point behind went to Albion PA, 1573 led by Larry Pavolko 397 in 4-P. Fourth – Seventh place was also very close just four points apart. Fourth place goes to Whitehall, 1569, led by, Jason Pratt, 398, 4-P. Fifth Place (just two points shy) goes to Jamestown 1567; Sixth place goes to Sutter Blue and Barrington who both fired a 1565. Other close races were between Amboy, 1506 over Sutter White 1504 over Central Florida 1502.

After two weeks of shooting Sutter Gold is in first with 4741pts, Plattsburgh second with 4730 and Albion is in third with 4722. Just nineteen points separating 1st to 3rd.

Our Division Leaders after three weeks are Sutter in the West, Albion in the Central, Plattsburgh, in the North, and Whitehall over Barrington by just 1pt in the East and Long Island in the South.

This week’s Top shooters are Lisette Grunwell-Lacey of Niantic with an 399 in prone, Lisette Grunwell-Lacey with a 397 in standing, and Clayton Hanson of Jamestown, with a 399 in 4 position. Our Top Junior Shooters were Clayton Hanson in 4-P, Andre Gross of Rochester 392 in standing and Austin Fletcher of Central Florida with a 393 prone.

In All-Star Action this week the Eastern All-Stars fired a 1588 for first. Just four points separated the all four other divisions. In Junior All-Stars the West outshot the Central 1578-1576
