Electronic Trigger Target Rifle

Post by conradin »

Am I correct that the only target rifles that come with an electronic trigge are the FWB2000, the Walther KK200 (UIT-E version), and the soon to be available Walther KK500? Also is the only other alternative choice was the after market ETS (Franklin Green) electronic trigger system designed for Anschutz target rifles?
Did the FWB and Walther UIT-E has a true dry fire system, can dry fire non stop without cocking? (Walther is a falling block, so the mechanism is slightly different).

Vince,

if you mean electronic triggers not targets, then that's about it. The Walther KK200 electronic and the UIT-E are different rifles though; as you say the UIT-E was a falling-block action made in the 1980s, but the KK200 was a conventional bolt action launched in 1995.

If I remember correctly Winzeller made an electronic trigger for the Anschutz 1800-1900 at one point. I don't know if it's still in production.

Richard Fowkes makes an electronic trigger for his RMFTC tube stocks, but I don't know whether this is compatible with a conventional stock.

Which Anschutz exactly? I can ask Bruno to sell me a system, but I need to know the Anschutz model.

As far as I remember it was for the current Match 54 types, so 1807, 1809, 1810, 1811, 1813, 1907, 1909, 1910, 1911, 1912, 1913, 2007, 2012, 2013. These all use the same trigger. The older 1400 and 1600 bolts are not compatible with 1800 and 1900 triggers. I have no idea whether Winzeller make, or have ever made, an electronic trigger specifically for the older 1400 and 1600 Anschutz actions.

Why don't you just ask him which models he can supply an electronic trigger for, or am I being too logical there.
