standing air rifle pulse

Post by peashooter »

I notice the movement of my hold seems mostly horizontal but its moving in time with my pulse - what can cause this?

You already gave the answer - your pulse!

Depending on your contact point at the hip/abdomen and around the chest area (right side), the pulse may move the rifle in different directions than you're expecting. However, with a proper position, it shouldn't be larger than of academical interest (the hold being steady enough that it won't affect the outcome - granting your technique is up to this standard of course).
