Hello! Im logged in, therefore I may have an opinion about the MG2? Nice! In Sweden we have had nothing but trouble with the MG2. I don't know if Match Guns have decided to ship low quality/unfinished pistols to our country because we are a small shooting nation!? But what I have seen is absolutely ...

Interesting twist of this thread, indeed! When athletes publically talks about performances and techniques in detail, it can certanly put a big anchor around the athletes neck, exactly as spsyched explained. I havn't even thought about it, not even close. Thanks spysyched for this eye opener! As I u...

I would say that there's no "secret" or perfect combination. For duello I want some marginal between 1st and 2nd stage, just like Mellberg suggests. A shot in the bench cost so many points. It can easily happen in competitions when tension is high. And don't forget to have marginal in tota...

Geco is RWS, good stuff! The other two... No, don't use it! Use quallity ammunition in your competition pistol, not the cheapest crap you can find.

I like Lapua and Eley.

Interesting. So the Lapua projectile you purchased is on the right side (with the dented bottom)? Correct! The dented bottom is probably due to some bouncing in the bullet hammer. How does the Lapua factory projectile compare to the one you pulled from the Lapua factory round? You mean a virgin Lap...

Re: .32" S&W reloads

Hello! Why is it so that my own reloads does not produce the perfect round holes that factory ammunition does? Not round holes is a sign of bullet instabillity in the air - I do not like that! :-( Here is some technical info about my reloads: - 1.5 grains Vihtavouri N310. This load speeds up the bu...

AW93 fiering pin is thick and very durable, impossible to break imho. I have no idea what about other parts that can break due to dry fiering. (Steve) But a friend in my club have done lots of dry fiering with his AW93 without any problems.

For your info, my Pardini SP1 electronic works perfectly fine. I have owned it for about 4 months. So I guess Pardini have have worked out the bugs by now. Btw, trigger module is 760 M Trigger feel is excellent, on par with Morini 162E AP (which I also own). I have had no problems with battery drain...

Thanks guys for all the input! I'll do some reverse engineering and check my Laupa factory ammunition for bullet and brass diameter, powder weight and compare it to my own reloads. I just need to borrow a bullet puller/hammer... I'll keep you all updated.

Cheers,

Tim: In near future, Anders will make a new batch of his excellent powder slide replacement for Dillon presses. Probably in black this time. And they will be for sale... :-) Pradeep5: I need to check groupings with a ransom rest - you are correct about that. But the original question was why round h...

Mike, Of course not. Sellier Bellot factory load being absolute useless crap IMHO. Magtech is ok except for keyholes from time to time. Which makes it useless for competitions. Fiocchi is extremly soft. Precision is not so good I think. Lapua/Norma factory ammunition is the top of the line, the very...

Thanks Anders! Yes, your custom made powderslide for Dillon works perfectly. It throws very consistant amounts of powder, every time. Very important when reloading .32". Verson 2.0 of your powderslide is probably better than perfect. :-) I'll try magnum primers to see if there is any difference...

Thanks again folks, Some of you seam so sure about that .32 tips/yaw after 25 meters, almost like it is a law of nature. But please look at my pictures - Lapua/Norma factory ammunition does NOT tip after 25 meters. It is clearly a big difference between factory and my reloaded ammunition. I'm using ...

Just some additional info. I have not clamped my gun into a wice - it's normal one hand shooting at 25 meters (~27 yards). Next step is of course to clamp my gun into a wice to see if the "jawing" means anything other than non round holes. I'm not so sure about twist rate in barrel beeing ...

Axel "It is the centre of the hole that counts, does not matter what caliber it is, .32 or .38. " Could you expand on this please? As I see it, the gauge will center the shots holes, but it is the outside of the gauge [.38 ] that needs to touch the higher scoring ring to get the higher va...

Yes, the hole can be way out from the ten ring visually, but still count as a ten when using a guage. Been there done that - many times. This is valid also for .22 shooting, but not as much as with .32.

As I said before, it is the centre of the hole that counts.
