Re: Steyr Sport Evo10 and Evo10E

I cannot for the life of me think why anyone would want cantable sights on a pistol,or why a manufacturer would think it was needed

Re: I HATE IT!

Gamo Compact - Responsible for putting too many young people off of pistol shooting. David, can you tell me why young people are put off by using the Gamo Compact? I have one that has over 10.000 shots, it's a love and hate relationship. It can be a good pistol once the trigger is tweaked and lubed...

Re: Isakov and Walther LP400

Isakov is using that pistol for one of two reasons,he likes it,or he gets sponsorship for using it,and his will be selected from the best of the best in the factory,he didn't get it off the shelf

Re: Morini 162 EI Trigger Shoe

I am using one of these triggers, with an added small notch to assist in weighing the trigger, from Ronny Nilsson at Interprodukter in Sweden . It was very strange. I fitted it and from the first shot it felt so natural that I forgot about it. 162EI Trigger.jpg David,do you know if they make a left...

Re: Cleaning pellets reducing accuracy?

There are definitely 2 schools of thought on this, personally for Air,I don't think I've ever cleaned my LP50 barrel, and might have fired 1 or 2 cleaning felts through my Morini in the past 3 years. For .22rf,I usually pull a boresnake though it after shooting just to get rid of the crud from the las...

Re: Front sight

If your problem is keeping sharp focus on the foresight, then regular dry fire training will be far more beneficial than drawing a line on it

I wonder what Pilkguns opinion of the Morini short is,as the sight base is the same as the long version,I expect they refuse to sell them at all!

Re: Eagle Eye Diopter

It's a magnifying lens, either 0.3 or 0.5 magnification,it fits on the front of your foresight, and basically makes your target look bigger

Thanks for the reply, Tufty. I'm based in North London.

I've made an appointment to visit Iqbal Uhbi, so I'll see how I get on with that!

Re: Has anyone converted a Morini CM162 long to a short?

I would be tempted to start by trying a short cylinder with your long barrel,I know a couple of people who shoot with that set up with great success. Can't really understand Pilkguns thinking .....if they refused to sell me a pistol because I couldn't shoot 550 with it I would tell them where to sti...

Dry firing with a cylinder is exactly the same as dry firing without one, turning the switch on only activates the trigger

Palm shelf extension

Having done some grip work on my Morini, the only other thing I'd like to try is extending the back of the palm shelf as it's now about 1cm short of my wrist joint....how close can I go and stay legal under ISSF Rules?
