Esprit Carabine UC stock.....

Anyone have some good pics of it from above? I’m trying to see how much lateral cheek adjustment it has. Hate to drop that kind of cash and it have the same limitations as every other stock.
Thanks,

Is it because you can’t get your head alingned without tilting your head far enough to get a good sight alignment?

Re: Rear sight 0.8-1.8

An adjustable iris works the same way as on a camera. It affects depth of field. The smaller the hole the most DOF, the larger the less DOF. As you age your eye loses its ability to focus near and far. The adjustable iris will help you get a little better sharpness either near or far but not both. T...

Re: Prone position rightwards recoil

It has everything to do with your position, sling tension, length of pull, and body alignment. Then the consistency each time you lay down. Meaning if your body alignment each time you lay down is off a little will change everything. Not so much that you can’t compensate. There lies the problem you ...

Re: Leupold 6.5-20 EFR VX-3 vs VX-3i

Thanks Odie! I’ll check it out. I’ve never been able to come to a good conclusion as to what’s changed. I heard one fella say they went down in quality, but nothing I’ve read supports that. Looks like they are a few bucks cheaper than they use to be because the don’t come with extra knobs...?? Chad

Leupold 6.5-20 EFR VX-3 vs VX-3i

Does anyone know the difference? One of these scopes has been on my list for some time and I have never gotten around to ordering one. I noticed the VX-3 is discontinued and the 3i is in production now. Hmmmm

Thanks,

Re: Value Anschutz 1813

$1600 for the rifle would be fair if it’s in good shape withs its original parts. Sights may or may not be good. I’d buy new sights! They should be fine to get you started.

Spotting scope recommendation...

I have a TSN-1. I've been happy with it, but on some days and what seems like every match day I have a hard time seeming through mirage. Are there any spotting scopes that may better see through the mirage?
Thanks

Re: Bee sting tuner

I just received my Starik tube a few weeks ago. Good quality item, it was easier to tune than with my Upta and is much lighter. I wasn't crazy about the alignment design, but it is just fine if you don't use scope. If you do use scope you need to make another weight that is exactly the weight of the...
