WHY is he not competitive with the other shooters running Anschutz rifles? Is it an actual precision issue with the two platforms (ie: What's he shooting now?) Edited to Add: The thread diameter/pitch for the bracket screws on Knobloch frames is 3mm x 0.5. I hope that helps somebody some day. What do you need the scope to do? Air, spring, smallbore?

That is indeed a tough fit, at least for a scope of quality.

Is there a reason you cannot just select a variable and not move the dial?
