Re: Pardini SP Extractor Falling Out Issue

Upon close inspection of the bolt dowel hole I can clearly see that the previous owner must have attempted to remove the extractor by punching the dowel pin out from the machine grooved end and while doing so staked inward two heavy burrs into the hole. Looks like the punch used was too big in diame...

Pardini SP Extractor Falling Out Issue

Hi, for some reason on my Pardini SP the extractor has fallen out of the bolt assembly TWICE! ... This SP pistol barely has a 3/4 case of standard velocity ammo through it. When I observe the bolt assembly I can see that the small dowel pin is still in place but has shifted upward, subsequently allo...

http://www.lapua-gmbh.de/naviEN.html

The Lapua website lists the SK Pistol Match Special at 1,131 fps, so it's a bit hotter than CCI SV @ 1,070 fps & SK Standard Plus @ 1,040 fps or Wolf MT @ 1,040 fps just for some comparisons.

Thank you all for your replies and thoughts and also for the NRA rule statement. ... This is all good information. As I think deeper, this particular match was outdoors, there were several line helpers with Red/Green indicating paddles and although there was a late indication of "Not Ready"...

Don't know, .. he or she was 15 or more lanes down the line from where I was. ... It may have been a new shooter unfamiliar with commands protocol.

Maybe the individual was loading rounds into magazines. ... just a guess

Range Commands ... Question

Can someone clarify the rules for Range Commands: Was on the line at a 900 .22 pistol event, there were nearly 40 shooters at the line. The several range helpers indicate to the Range Officer that range is safe and ready for the shooters to advance to the line. The Range Officer begins the cadence r...

Re: Please read Robert Kurson's book, Shadow Divers.

If you have a chance, please read Robert Kurson's book, Shadow Divers. I see too many similarities of personal awareness, development and attitude of John Chatterton. Achieving the best score possible for us is similar to us as a group of people who spent many hours of training, advanced education,...

Another option to consider is to have the blade slot opened by having it milled. If you have any buds that work in a machine shop I'm betting the blade can be easily milled nice & clean to whatever width you want and depending on which orientation the blade is to the end mill you can have either...
