No help to you, but SAM factory redated my cylinders (good to 2028). I'm also using another expired pair.

Re: Pellet Weight for Morini 162ei
Since Don himself told me that pellet weight doesn't matter, and H&N (who made Don's pellets) claim they don't package their pellets by weight, but by accuracy, I guess that leaves just me to tell you what to use. I'll kinda just whisper, since everyone else on here knows what I'm going to say: ...

Re: Pellet Weight for Steyr Velocity Adjustment?
In my messing about with a couple of SSPs, i found the difference between light and heavy pellets to be about 45fps.
I like to set the gun at about 525fps for no good reason. I HAVE found, though, that an occasional pellet brand will
be grossly inaccurate until air pressure is played with.

Re: Scoring Limits of a Cheap Gun
I suspect the cheapest gun you'll be able to find that's capable of good performance will be a used FWB 65. There are thousands of them out there. I've seen them as cheap as $100 (unlikely any more). They are capable of world class scores. Lots of parts and repairs are available (see Pilk). File &am...

CCI Quiet in a Free Pistol
Anybody tried it? I had a few rounds, so I tried them in my TOZ. As a comparo, I shot some CCI Blazer (cheap), I was looking at my target when one of the guys laughingly said, "I wouldn't use those in competition!" The holes in the target were noticeably smaller. Any reports from you folks...

Re: special spectacles for airpistol shooters
Sounds good to me. Another trick would be to put a piece of matte transparent tape on the inside of the non-aiming eye lens so you will shoot with both eyes open. It improves your vision. Cheap, too!

Re: Shaking limbs loose before shooting?
Many times I would have a long drive to a match and would stiffen up. When I arrived, I would take a fast walk, bending and stretching.
By the time I was signed in, unpacked, took a potty break, etc., I was "settled" and relaxed for the match.

Re: Scoring Limits of a Cheap Gun
Basically, you're looking for "cheap 'n' good".
If you're not in a club with free air, you'll save by buying
a single stroke pneumatic or one of the FWB 65 series.
They will be much cheaper, too.
All you need is a tin of RWS Basic pellets and you're ready
to compete at any level
