Cool box Earnie. After the last discussion that I saw on this I made my own based on my limited experience and needs that I have seen at the club I uaually shoot at. It has a removable pistol stand with room in the back to hold at least one more pistol. The box is made of finger jointed baltic birch...

I must agree on the use of quickwood. It ws very simple to use with excellent results for me. I used it mainly on the back of the grip to fill in hole on under the base of my thumb. Quick and easy to use. Then I used the dremel with the small ball file to get a bunch tiny divets in the grip. I think...

I took the gamble and have found that it works for em. Sure I would like to have an extra 1500 bones to lay out or an LP10 but for me, now, the IZZY is what I have.

I use a cordless 18volt Dewalt drill all day long. That is heavy. I found this picture in my internet travels while looking up old school fighters. The guy really looks like me though.

Being the cheap SOB that I am, I buy good quality round nosed pellets and print 300 DPI targets on cheap paper and worry more about my grouping in practice than scoring. When you start getting 3 touchers in the 9 ring you can really start getting into your targets and keeping score. I use the round ...

Hey Z welcome. I think you should be able to put all 40 in the black at 6m. Just from your background. Now sit back and put your pellets away. Time for dry fire. Get that grip to fit your hand. You are looking for it to point where your eye is looking when you raise your hand. Wear glasses that obsc...

Jack does your club have a website or a schedule of matches? The only matches I have shot have been at the PR&P here in Portland and a Postal match that the Natinal Guard does in January. I have heard some talk of a club in Vancouver Washington but not much else.

Hey, any of you shooters local to me, how about a list of AP events in the area? Is there a source or some place that these events might be listed?

IZH!!! I have shot both and still have my Izzy. I like the pump. I am less likely to rush my shot with it. Not saying I would not take a CA or CO2 gun if it were ofedred. (anyone?) If you are just starting out in AP and intend to stay with it, get the Izzy. Work on the grips if you need too. If you ...

I really like mine. One thing I would do is make sure your trigger is the proper weight and do not be afraid to read about modifying the grip to suit you. Also search the archives here for IZH 46m and read more about it.

my hold time starts when I reach the end of my exhale and enjoy the natural respiratory pause. I never hold my breath. As stated by other s the hold ends after a follow through or if I notice I am holding and I see wobble.
