Re: American Trap is Too Easy ATA Trap is Too Easy

You do realize that the 2A means you can have a shotgun right??? Any gun owner that is anti 2A can either turn in thier guns or accept the title of hippocrite and should be expelled from any rational gun club. Firstly, the 2A is irrelevant to myself and all others who aren't in the USA. And the rea...

Re: Beretta 76 Opinions?

Where I live (Canada) you can buy a good used DES 69 or FAS 602 for around CDN$600. I think that's the most cost effective way to get into this kind of shooting. For other Canadians : Just had to give my recommendation for Tradeex. Never know what they might have in stock, but has been a source for...

Re: 10m only soon?

Perhaps the easiest thing is to ask the ISSF to clarify? Why do that when we can all exercise paranoia and victimhood? Rifle and shotgun Worldcups can be held with different mixes of disciplines. So why not different Worldcups for 10/25/50 events? Now, need to clarify with the ISSF. Because for the...

Re: FAS 607 Slide Lock Sometimes Engages While Firing?

Never had an issue like that with my 607. My complaint for the slide lock is that it is very awkward to manipulate.

Any sources for replacement parts/kits for the 607?

www.dominoguns.it is no more. :(

Might be the smart ass answer, but maybe re-install the original hammer?

" the "Thunder" Hammer can reduce trigger pull weight to below 2lbs!*"

Seems it did exactly as advertised.

Re: CMP 2020 Pistol Rules (DRAFT)

It's depressing that over a thousand people will view a thread on rules and no one will respond. Competitors should be familiar with the rules and rules are critical for well run competitions. There's an unacceptable lack of care at the NRA (an email address is randomly inserted in the rulebook FFS)...

CMP 2020 Pistol Rules (DRAFT)

https://thecmp.org/wp-content/uploads/2020PistolRules_Draft.pdf I've spotted lots of problems and so have others. But from what I'm hearing the CMP rules committee has never been very open to suggestions. But the CMP is obviously attempting to provide complete replacement of the NRA for Bullseye/270...

Re: Does anyone know the cost of an Electronic Target System

I'd like to know of some options and prices myself.
A while ago I did fill in a request at IndiaMart. Had a seller quote me 3357$US for a SIUS HS10 or 5857$US for an LS10.

Re: Refilling Cylinders

Not going to comment much on the safety. Tanks should be filled slowly and only to their rated pressure. Are you sure about the fill pressure? I looked up the K12 in the user manual and it says the fill pressure is 250bar. That's 3625psi. http://www.pardini.it/manuali/PISTOL%202019%20Manual.pdf http...

uladz wrote: Mon Oct 14, 2019 12:03 am Yes this is a neat trick. But when I eject it by moving the slide back it will also cock the trigger again. Yellow anchors work great as dummy rounds but I’m afraid it will not for just decocking. Thank you for this idea!
Just leave it in.

Re: Don’t like loading magazines..look at this aftermarket speedloader for Matchguns MG2.

Apparently this is now often being enforced at major international competitions as "the safety flag must be inserted any time the shooters hand is not on the pistol", which is NOT what the rule says. Whether or not that is how the rule should be enforced, I think that's the easiest routin...

Re: Don’t like loading magazines..look at this aftermarket speedloader for Matchguns MG2.

If convenience is your thing, having a few loaded spare magazines would make better sense than using a speed loader... https://www.krale.shop/en/magazine-match-guns-22-lr-5-rounds.html The price of MG2 magazines is stunningly low... But having multiple magazines doesn't remove the convenience of a ...

Re: Don’t like loading magazines..look at this aftermarket speedloader for Matchguns MG2.

Good lord people are over complicating things. The magazine is only 5 rounds. So discussion of larger loaders is ridiculous. As stated, no magazine can be loaded before the load command in ISSF. The time to load is plenty generous to load a magazine with 5 by hand. But might be tight (and not to men...

Re: Revolver purists will NOT like this.

Who's going to care about revolver legality for ISSF? Are there any ISSF disciplines that would use a revolver? Place you'd might use the Chiappa would be for DR in NRA/CMP. Yes, Center Fire. And if you doubt it, check which firearm was Mikhail Nestruev using when he set the current WR: a revolver!...

Great concept but it cannot be used for ISSF with such a low barrel line. ISSF rules... "Pistol Configuration, 8.4.3.1.b and drawing 8.13 The center line of the bore must pass above the web (between thumb and forefinger) of the hand holding the pistol in the normal firing position." Who's...

Revolver purists will NOT like this.

When I was down in the USA for a 2700, I let a couple of the people there shoot my Chiappa Rhino 60DS (I had brought it along, but didn't use it in competition). The looks on their faces while shooting it were priceless. One of the shooters is quite accomplished with a revolver, and befuddled is pro...

Any recommended sources for parts?
https://www.dominoguns.it/ has changed (seems old site has gone defunct and new site is just a placeholder) and doesn't show any 602/607 parts in search results.
