Canadian Range laws

http://laws.justice.gc.ca/en/F-11.6/SOR-98-212/index.html I got to this site from the Canadian Firearms Center site. It appears to be something like what you're looking for. Also, take a look at the Canadian Firearms Center site: http://www.cfc-cafc.gc.ca/pol-leg/FireArmsAct_e.asp http://www.cfc-caf...

HELP PLEASE WITH PARDINI HPE TRIGGER!!!!

Good day everyone! So my Pardini seems to like to think it's an IPSC gun and double tap on my due to the fact that the trigger resets itself almost immediatly upon release of pressure after the shot. This has caused a few double or triple taps. Does anyone know how to change/increase the reset dista...

Pardini HP E or HP New?

I'm about to purchase a Pardini .32 for use in Center Fire and Military Rapid Fire (CISM). I'm familiar with the gun and have shot my SPE (the really old .22...not electronic) with great sucess. I'm pretty set on the brand, having discounted all other .32's for various reasons, some technical, some ...

Haemmerli FP-10 Trigger Group WANTED!

I've recently come into posession of an FP-10, shot it at the Canadian Nationals where my first experience with the troubles associated with it happened. All I have to do now is set in on the bench with to much force and it discharges. In talking with some of my esteemed and more experianced collegu...

ISSF Pistol Shooters on Vancouver Island???

I'm moving from Kingston, Ontario to Comox, BC and am looking for anyone out that way who shoots and seriously trains in ISSF disciplines. I know of two gun clubs out that way, one on Comox lake (Fish and Game association) and a club in Campbell River. Anyone out there have any experiance out there?...

Re: timer too

I also found room to include a countdown timer in my case, helpful with the 30 minute 10m air pistol shoots our club hosts. Can find them all over ebay: http://search.ebay.com/talking+countdown+timer On that note, after scouring ebay and various other places online, this is the best timer I found. ...

Needing Needles

Like others above me, I've not had to use anything to clear my barrel, but have seen several situations where one is crucial. First suppose you've loaded a pellet then realize that nature calls? Well, if you leave the line in competition the RO must prove your pistol safe, so to unload and prove it ...

Thanks!

Thank you everyone for your quick tips and responses! I think I'm gonna leave it to someone who knows what they're doing, at least for now! A translation on that site at some point would be cool, let me know if you do translate it at any point.

Repair Question...replacing hinged ejector, GSP .32

The hinged ejector on my walther broke recently and I've been having some problems getting the old one out. I have a replacement part and it looks like all I should have to do is to punch out the old pin, pushing from the outside of the slide. I've only succeded in denting the old pin and a part of ...

SP loosening

I haven't run across that problem with my SPE, but on my old GSP that would happen. Can't say that I ever found a way of dealing with other than making sure it was tight when I took it out to shoot.

FP-10

Interesting, I didn't know that Hammerli didn't acknowledge the problem. The trigger is set as a two stage right now, I haven't changed the settings yet or I might not. It's working just fine for me so far! Unfortunatly I'll be in Ft. Benning on the 15th, it's too bad I could get the paperwork, I'd ...

Free Pistols

I can't speak for all FP-10 owners, but in my case I love it! I have one of the last ones produced, so the trigger group is fixed as is the front sight. I know the past history of the FP-10's front sights and trigger group but mine has never been an issue. That said, as an entry level free pistol, t...

Canada, eh?

Yeah, nothing in the rulebook, up in Canada here, I shoot on a "heated" indoor range during the winter....it gets cold real fast, hehehehe, but we don't have any World Cup events, so it's not a big deal internationally. We do have the Air Gun Grand Prix, but that is in a heated range/ballr...

US Collegiate Sectionals!

Are there any Collegiate level shooters out there who shot or are shooting sectionals? I'm going down to West Point this weekend to shoot the sectionals there and so is one other Canadian. Any one else out there from USNA, USMA, USCGA, Ohio State, or MIT?? I'm at RMC if you remember us Canadians!

Bob, I assume you're talking about the Walther SSP, their new Sport/Standard/Rapid Fire pistol. Check out their website: www.carl-walther.de for the official details. Also, you might want to look at Patrick Haynes's site, www.targetshooting.ca and go to "picture gallery". He has some pictu...

Rink/Pardini

Well, my Pardini is still in the mail to me. When I bought it, it came with a small grip, which I knew wouldn't fit, so I just got a rink grip. It fits ok, and I do like the adjustment system, but it doesn't fill my hand like say my CM LP10 grip does. I got it with "Normal" volume, maybe i...

Modifying Wooden Grips

I just got a Rink grip for my Pardini SPE and I also have a untouched factory SAM grip for my FP-10. Both these grips need some work before I can really use them. I have wood filler and a dremmel tool, but would someone be able to give me a quick run through of how to do it "properly"? I d...
