Thanks for all the suggestions.... The Edelman targets are 2x the price of the Nationals, so I'll try the other solutions first. I can increase my velocity so I'll try that first and see if it affects my groups. I already use a cardboard backer, but I shoot the backer out pretty quick. I'll try the...

Any or all of the above mentioned things would help . A PCP would cause you to use far less effort , an make the use of a 3P stand more efficient . Awsomes as the FWB 300 was , a modern PCP would make quite a difference in your game .

All we can do is encourage anyone who takes an intelligent intrest . This can be time consuming , and sometimes expensive , but can also bring big dividends .

All of the above notwithstanding , I would be most happy to find a Co2 LP1 at a good price , all the above said , I doubt I would convert it to CA .

CO2 didnt suddenly turn to poop overnight , an old skool LP1 would give any modern AP a run for its money . They have an advantage - no regulator . IIRC the AP record is still held by a CO2 gun .

The LP@offers a three faced front sight , 4mm , 4.5mm an 5mm . Other than that its cosmetics , to shroud or not to shroud . The weight system is also different , the LP@ has the weights well below the bore axis .

The hand pump is also usefull for toping up cylinders when your scuba tank is starting to run down . Usually after a 60 shot match plus sighters you are looking at refill as opposed to top up . Air from a pump may or may not be as pure and dry as air from a scuba tank . Most AP shooters end up with ...
