Re: Purdue University loosing its range! - UPDATED W/GOOD NE

Having signed the petition I am pleased to hear this news. I went back to the petition page and found that there were 326 signers. I see this as an area we should be much more active as a shooting community, positive support of issues like this. Is this because we need to develop some sort of notifi...

Re: Safety problem Smith and Wesson model 41

I had the same problem with my 41. the safety has a small detent stamped into it. I removed it and judiciously
used a small pin punch to reset the detent. 6 months later it is still good.

Re: Dot size change in scope reticle

As I recall it was $130 including the return shipping. Turn around time was 2-3 weeks. The charge for a reticle change is $110.

Good Luck

Re: Dot size change in scope reticle

I recently had a Weaver T24 1/8 dot replaced with a 3/8 dot. I was very please and my performance validated the change. I used Optical Services out of Santa Teresa, NM.

Re: Workouts to avoid?

One of the most overlooked aspects of weight training is recovery time. The older you are the more recovery you need. Here is a very good article on recovery http://www.criticalbench.com/strength_training_muscle_recovery.htm Here is an excellent resource for all things relating to training exrx.net ...

What Nick failed to mention was his meditation technique he employed between matches.

Re: Blocking branding on equipment in the Olympics?

I have a friend that is in Rio now as a timer for the whitewater events. He has to de-brand his sunglasses, shoes, and any other brands that are visible. It's all about the $$$.

Re: Stripped Alan Head

Do not drill unless you are certain you have the equipment and skill to dill the vertical center. Leave that for the gunsmith. You may want to sacrifice one allen wrench and use JB weld to glue it into the remains of the screw head or find some industrial grade of loctite or other adhesive. Clean bo...

Re: Is my old SKB rifle case legal under TSA checked bag rul

Good luck with dealing with TSA. It could depend on who is the agent of the moment. You would be wise to call of visit them and have the date and name of the person who blessed it.

Re: 2016 National Match schedule is out

I received the "Bristol Decision" letter yesterday. It included a 2016 match schedule for Bristol. Since it was forwarded to me by the AZ State Association I am not certain if it is offical. What concerns me more than staying at Bristol(shorter drive) is the fact that the conventional pron...
