Re: Walther GSP500 US Availability?

I go the first Walter FP500 pistol, serial 0001. Walther/Earl had to sent the pistol to ATF to get approve. It took them 6 months playing around before it was approved to be sold in US. Than there was government on strikes afterward. Took them another 3 months to get approved. If US government go ba...

Re: What New Free Pistol

I called Earl on Monday. Asking him about Walther is exiting FP market, He has not hear anything. He said he will check and get back to me.

He confirmed FP500 is copy of Hammerli FP60. Difference is the orange color compensator and grip.

Re: What New Free Pistol

40 years old part is nothing, Earl got walther parts from early 1900. I said he stocked lots parts, but I did not said he stocked every walther parts. To Gwhite, how many times do you have to replace the circuit board on your CM84E? How often do you have to charge up the gun to keep it functional? w...

Re: What New Free Pistol

So other manufacture keeps their electronic circuit board parts forever? Circuit board has shelf life, capacitors go bad after certain time. Solenoid go bad after certain cycles. Let me know which gun manufacture has electronic circuit board from 30 yrs ago. Mechanical part lasted longer then electr...

Re: What New Free Pistol

FP500 is not discontinue, you can ordered it through Earl. As far as I know, The part for FP60 and FP500 are interchangeable. I had compared schematic diagram between both pistols. FP60 diagram from the web is not as detail as my FP500 diagrams. But the screw holes, parts looks the same. Earl stocke...

Re: What New Free Pistol

I go the first copy of FP500 in the US, serial number 001. Took Earl 9 months to order it. He had to fly to Germany to do the paper work. How may gun dealer does that? DOJ want copy of the pistol to test (play with), since it is brand new pistol to the US. That took another few months. On top of the...

Re: Thoughts on the Tec-Hro Fanatic?

I have tech-hro fanatic stock with anschutz 2013 action on it. I did not like the original grip that come with the stock, not very comfortable in my opinion. You can not use other grip. I modified a FWB grip, but it looks ugly after putting the epoxy to fill in the void. I end up upgraded with the r...

Re: Tec-hro Fanatic experience?

Hi: I have the stock. I have anschutz 2013 barrel action on the stock. I did not like the original hand grip, it is copy of anschutz grip in wood. So I put a FWB 800 grip on it. Re: Need Input from Walther SSP Owners

He has ssp in stock when I ordered it. But that was in 2015. You can call and asked him. I forgot how much I paid for shipping. It was insured to my FFL dealer. I am in California, so there is extra paper work he had to do to sent it out here. Talk to one of his associate once, Earl's is in his 70's...

Re: Need Input from Walther SSP Owners

I have the SSP mechanical and GSP expert. I like both. SSP is light compare to GSP. I bought mine from Earl's at http://www.carlwalther.com. He told me the first version of the ssp was poorly designed. He told me he ended up redesigned the gun/trigger/feed and sent it back to Walther. Since than, it...

Re: Teh-Hro Fantatic

I just bought the Fantaic stock one month ago. The hand grip only come in one size, medium. It is direct copy of Anschutz pro grip. It is made out of wood. In my opinion, the quality of the grip is very poor. I am in the process of modifying a FWB 800 grip to fit the stock. The feeling on the grip i...

What is correct way to store the pcp cylinder after firing? Assuming there is still charged air, and I will be using it again in 1 week. 1) Leave the cylinder with charged air on the rifle. 2) Remove the cylinder from the rifle, but leave the charged air inside the cylinder. 3) Remove the cylinder f...
